Clif bar £1.29 Finally, the Clif Bar has arrived. 2Pure has been announced as the official importer after a long wait that has left those who have tried them in the past eager to get their hands on them once again. These are delicious bars that taste like real food and come from great ingredients. The steady energy, or moderate glycaemic response, means they're good in training or as snacks. Each 68g bar hasaround 43-45g energy-providing carbohydrates, 5g good fats (no transfats) and 10g building blocks of protein. We tried the chocolate chip and oatmeal and the raisin and walnut flavours; both tasted great. Each has around 250-260cals per bar, which is competitive with other bars in the market. Carrot cake flavour is also available.They're still awaiting official UK Organic Certification, but claim to use 70% organic ingredients. The fact that the chocolate chip bars are dairy-free will also be a bonus for lactose-intolerant athletes.
