Pedro's Cycle Lubricants & ToolsPedro's was started in 1989 by two college students in Cambridge, MA when they devised their first product Syn Lube ATB, a mountain bike lube better suited to the testing conditions found locally. By 1993 they were already developing an awareness for the environment and they debut the worlds first recycled grip, the Blackwall. They also set out on the road with Butch Balzano to start the world famous Pedro's Racing Service. Over the years, Pedro's have never wavered from their pioneering outlook, introducing products like the 'Blowout' seat wedge, made from recycled inner tubes to CHAINj, an environmentally friendly chain lube made from renewable resources. |
Pedro's continues innovating sustainable bike care with the introduction of Green Fizz bike wash, GO low viscosity, environmentally friendly chain lube and Ethik bags. And the results have been noticed. Bicycle Retailer and Industry News last year named Pedro's the 'Green Giant'. They also won the first ever 'BRAINy' award for commitment to sustainable business practices.
