Pinhead Components inc was formed in 1997 to develop an effective locking system for bicycle components. At that time, there were many kinds of bicycle frame locks, but there was no effective component locking system designed to protect the bike's individual components from theft.

So we created one.

Pinhead's internationally patented locking system gives bicycle owners effective, affordable, protection from the growing problem of bicycle component theft.
