Ibis Cycles UK Demo Tour Update

Posted: Jun 03, 2019

Edinburgh-based distributor for Ibis Cycles, 2pure Ltd, has reported that their 2019 Ibis Cycles UK Demo Tour has been a massive success so far, with more demo dates following later in the year.

The Ibis Cycles UK Demo Tour (now in its fifth year) visits Ibis dealers and mountain bike events up & down the country, giving customers the opportunity to test one of Ibis’ full carbon models for themselves and driving sales to the dealer network.

The tour has already visited two of the UK’s most-loved dealers and riding spots, One Planet Adventure in Llandegla Forest, Wales, and Cycle Highlands in Ballater, Scotland, with many customers proclaiming at these multi-brand demo events that the award-winning Ripmo 29er was the best bike they’ve ever ridden.

This upcoming weekend’s Transcend Bike Festival in Innerleithen, Scotland (79 June), will be the UK debut of the recently-released Ripley 4 and the first chance for UK riders to try this fantastic short-travel 29er in its new longer/slacker/lighter guise.

Jake Law, tech support manager at 2pure, said: We love meeting our extended Ibis Cycles family at demo events and converting many riders that are new to the brand. We can’t wait to give even more riders the opportunity to try our bikes – they definitely won’t be disappointed!”

2019 will be the first year that the Ibis Cycles Demo Tour will attend the very popular Ard Rock Enduro in the Yorkshire Dales (24 August).

The Tour will also attend a new women’s only event, the Gowaan Gals MTB Festival in Marple (68 September), co-founded by Ibis Cycles Enduro Race Team rider and current British Enduro Champion, Bex Baraona.
