Gramicci was founded in the 1980s in Yosemite, California, by Mike Graham and some climbing friends. The team developed pioneering detailing that redefined climbing clothing through improving mobility and adding well thought through finishes. They developed the famous diamond shaped gusset which increases movement as well as built in nylon belts, that can easily be adjusted with one hand. Gramicci carry through their established reputation into their division line, and are still driven by ‘freedom-of-movement’ and outdoor pursuit. Gramicci Japan is a line stemming from the established climbing driven outerwear company, Gramicci, and is defined by stripped back aesthetics and innovative performance materials. All styles are designed for purpose whilst also looking clean and suiting both urban and outdoor environments.
Clothing from the Gramicci Japan range features durable fabrics ranging from bonded fleece to workwear-inspired cotton twill. The finish is always immaculate alongside original climbing details being brought across into fashion styles, which provides a unique final aesthetic.
2pure like Gramicci believe that innovation and passion do not begin and end with a product.
